Parma attacker, Antonio Cassano, admitted he was ready to do everything that can be called up by coach Cesare Prandelli to the Italy squad that will compete in the 2014 World Cup.
Statement 31-year-old player was ejected after delivering overthrew Parma AC Milan at the San Siro with a score of 2-4, Sunday (16/03). In the game, Cassano contributed two goals.
"I swear, I really wanted to go to Brazil because I have never played in the World Cup. I did everything I could in order to coach difficulty determining his choice," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"I do not know how much chance I get Italian squad, but I hope to be elected and I kept praying," he continued.
Cassano last time strengthen the Azzurri at Euro 2012 squad. He made his debut with the national team in November last 20013. Of the 35 games, he contributed 10 goals.
