Rodgers Welcomes Return of Lucas and Sakho
In a press conference ahead of the grand duel versus Manchester United, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers welcomes the return of Lucas Leiva and Mamadou Sakho.
"Lucas and Sakho fine, both have been training throughout the week. They are now back in the squad (first team) and only Jose Enrique is absent," said Rodgers.
"Lucas and Sakho are two very important players for us and if they are ready to play from now until the end of the season, of course we will play it." he added.
Lucas missed defend the Reds since mid-January in a match against Aston Villa, while Sakho injured when against Chelsea in December last year.
On Friday both took part in the U-21 match which Liverpool face West Ham U-21.
