Although he had felt aggrieved by the referee in the Premier League last week, Jose Mourinho claimed that he was still fully believe in the English referee.
The Portuguese manager was sent off by referee Chris Foy at the game against Aston Villa. The Special One felt he did not deserve such punishment. But apparently, it did not reduce the manager's confidence in the officials.
"In conjunction with English football, no one outside of this country are so concerned with English football than when I worked for five years in Italy and Spain," said Mourinho told reporters.
"You know my character. I say what I say and what I feel. Though after a Saturday (the game against Villa), I still say that the English referee very, very good and I highly believe in them," he concluded.
